We may still be in the depths of Winter but BBQ season is just around the corner. The Briritsh BBQ Society competition calendar has just been released with the date for Mayhem in May set for the weekend of May 28th/29th.
For the uninitiated, Mayhem in May is the first Pit Masters competition of the BBBQS season and it’s always great fun. We’ve heard that all of the established teams are confirmed for the event so we’ll be locking horns with the likes of Bite the Bullet, Miss Piggy’s, BBQ Shack and Bunsen & Burner once again. Furthermore with the first BBBQS competition cook school going ahead on March 19th, there should be some new faces in the mix at Mayhem.
We’ll be at the cook school to help out and offer some competition tips to the new teams, we’ll post a report of the event afterwards.
Anyway, that’s enough blogging for now, I’m off to do some hardcore smoking.
