If you’re based in the USA you’ll be able to get Lawry’s seasoned salt easily so there’s no need for this recipe. If you’re UK based this recipe will be a gem for you. Seasoned salt can be used as an all-purpose rub, try seasoned salt and black pepper on steaks or mix it with extra sugar and paprika on pork. It’s also great in stews, soup and casseroles. This is a copycat recipe for Lawry’s and its pretty darned good.
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp salt
- 2 Dsp Demerara sugar
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp ground celery seeds
- Optional 1/4 teaspoon corn flour
