Competitive barbecue is a fast growing new sport in the UK. One only has to look at the competition scene in the US to see the potential for growth. The British BBQ Society events bring together outdoor cooking enthusiasts from all over the UK, these people are serious about BBQ, food, drink and outdoor living in general. Additionally our competitions typically partner with large public events with a footfall of 1000+. When you put all this together you can see that there is a massive opportunity for brand and product promotion by partnering with a championship barbecue team such as Royal Q Pit Crew.

We are currently seeking sponsors and commercial partners for the 2010 season and beyond. Partnering with Royal Q could involve many things, from covering part of our entry fees to providing our competition meat or loaning us a gazebo to use as our stand. In return we can work with you to ensure maximum benefit from your investment. From adding your branding to all our promotional material, to acting as a product ambassador and promoting your products at our events, we can help you to promote your business. We are also open to discussion about other ways to provide benefits to our partners, maybe you’d like us to cater a BBQ for your staff or provide them with a BBQ masterclass, maybe you’d like some content for your company newsletter. Jennings of Caversham

Jennings are based in Caversham, Reading and have been around for nearly ninety years. As well as being one of the most successful catering suppliers in the area, they have a “proper” shop in the centre of Caversham. With a friendly and vastly experienced team of butchers, you’re guaranteed to pick up some great meat every time you visit them. Jennings supply our competition meat and we are incredibly selective with what we’ll take, but these guys always come up trumps for us, the meat is always superb.
